• Download and use the software for personal purposes
• Use it to create and share mods
• Install on devices you own or control

2.2 Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Use for commercial purposes without permission
• Create derivative software versions
• Remove copyright or trademark notices
• Sell, rent, or sublicense the software
• Use to create cheats for online multiplayer

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Comply with game publishers' terms of service
• Use mods only in appropriate contexts
• Back up game files before modding
• Respect intellectual property rights

3.2 Prohibited Activities

Do NOT:

• Violate laws or regulations
• Create malicious mods
• Cheat in online multiplayer
• Infringe on copyrights or trademarks
• Distribute harmful content
• Compromise security or stability

4. Game Compatibility

4.1 Third-Party Games

Frosty works with third-party games. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by game publishers.

4.2 Risks

Using mods may:

• Cause game instability or crashes
• Result in account bans if used online
• Affect performance or compatibility
• Void warranties from publishers

You use Frosty at your own risk. Check individual game policies before using mods.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership

The software and documentation are protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5.2 User Content

You retain ownership of mods you create. However:

• Ensure your mods don't infringe on others' rights
• Game assets remain property of publishers
• Public mods must respect your chosen license

FROSTY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy or reliability of content

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

• Data loss or corruption
• Account bans or suspensions
• Game damage or instability
• Indirect or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed $50 USD.

8. Updates and Changes

We may update the software or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Termination

We may terminate your access for Terms violations. Upon termination, cease all use and delete all copies.

10. Third-Party Components

Frosty includes third-party software with their own licenses:

• Json.NET (MIT License)
• LZMA SDK (Public Domain)
• UnRAR (Freeware License)

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes will be resolved through arbitration where possible.
